Thank you so much! When I started reading/watching Hetalia it was Germany and Italy who seemed the most attractive couple (all that screen time, for a start), then I fell for Sweden and Finland, and then I got to the panel with proto!Prussia standing over Poland, and Poland looking up with that tiny, sly Gotcha expression and I thought, Oh, little gay cartoon anthropomorphic representation of a country, MARRY ME. And the same for Lithuania :-) I love the way we are actually explicitly told that both of them are far more than they seem, and yet the other characters get fooled more than once by their exteriors.
I love that Lithuania has the strength of character to put up with Poland's (usually well-meaning) bossiness and to stand up to him, and that Poland can actually stop and notice when he's being a dick to Lithuania - and how their first instinct, even after being apart for so long is to turn to each other in times of trouble. (As for Russia, he's a big and complicated fellow country, he can't just be reduced down to one aspect).
