Competition

Right now, she was going to kill them.

Competition was fine. Rukia could handle competition. She even indulged with it herself when they sparred. It was fun to let loose and to remind them that she wasn’t some helpless girl. That, and the chance to thump them in the head was not something to be missed.

Right now, though, she was going to strangle them both.

Competition was fine. It had its place, though. On the field, well, not so good, but not bad either, as long as they didn’t let it get out of hand. In the house, well, more bad than good, unless she could set the two idiots towards doing something useful with that energy. Or if they were focusing on her. She -loved- when they focused on her as part of that competition. She got things that she enjoyed and was usually sore afterwards in all the best ways.

Right now, though, this was going too far.

Competition was fine. But Rukia was -trying- to sleep, and she snatched her pillow up and smashed both Ichigo and Renji in the head. “Idiots,” she snarled. “Just get another blanket from the closet. Or cuddle closer to me. No more fighting over who has the most blanket while I’m in the middle.”

Right now, she wished she had a camera to catch the looks of dumbfounded shock on their faces.

Competition was fine. Right now though, Rukia was just going to enjoy the stunned silence.

*smiles brightly* And this is the first time ever that I've gotten compliments over my character voices for all three people in my favorite threesome from a fandom. I've gotten compliments over my Renji and Ichigo, and now Rukia. You have no idea how much you made my day.

And I'm glad you like it. I didn't even realize I had a repetition until I had done the competition line twice, and then decided to work with it a bit more. I'm glad you liked it, and thank you so very much again.

I'm insanely late to be jumping into this, but I just discovered your RenIchiRu fic drabbles in the bleach_yaoi archive. I'm really, really liking your portrayal of them. Also, I'm going to hold out hope that maybe you'll do a full fic for them someday.
