‘Sweet Forgiveness’

 

            The sheets rustled with movement as she moaned, her hands caressing her lover’s back as his hands smoothed over her side, savouring the feel of her soft skin. Her nails ran over his skin causing him to push against her, making her gasp as her thighs clenched tighter around him. His lips trailed over her neck, enjoying the taste of her.

            Some nights, they needed each other hard and fast, to feel each other no matter what. But other nights, like this one, all they wanted to do was touch each other, to feel that they were both there. There was no hurry; they had all the time in the world.

            It was the first time in a while the two of them had had in a while since Geostigma. Cloud left when he contracted the disease, ashamed that he couldn’t help them when he couldn’t help himself.

            “I’m really sorry,” he mumbled against her collarbone. Tifa curled a hand into his hair and pulled his face up so she could look at him in the eye.

            “Shut up and kiss me,” she ordered him playfully; letting him know that she has forgiven him. She understood why he had done it.

            He grinned, kissing her and returning back to their love making.
