There's a couple repeats here from other people's posts, but...

Video Games:
Just about any Final Fantasy from VI onward (except the MMOs and Dirge of Cerberus, since I've not played those), but especially X, IX and the Dissidia-verse. I'm more comfortable with het and/or canon pairings, but *shrug* Gimme something to stretch my limits? :P
Dynasty Warriors! Oh god tell me there's someone else out there who sees the slash in those games...or re: Warriors Orochi spinoff, Ginchiyo Tachibana/Sun Shang Xiang being badass together? :)
...I feel weird even suggesting this, but if someone can come up with a plausible prompt involving characters from Kingdom of Loathing, I will be on that like white on rice. :P

Books:
David Eddings. Just about anything he's written, but one of my favorite series EVAR is the Belgariad/Mallorean.

Mostly m/m slashy ones (Kyo/Yukimura - obviously not going anywhere seriously, but I find it hot; Fubuki/Hishigi; maybe Akira/Hotaru), although I don't mind some of the canon het ones either (Kyo/Yuya, Benitora/Mahiro). A flashback to Julian/Ian could be hot - I like Julian, and Ian must have been quite a woman. Likewise, flashback fic to when Muramasa became involved with and married Mayumi. Hmmm ... and the first Sasuke (Shindara) and either Kosuke (het) or Saizo (slash). Or even the Aka no Ou/ Shihoudou! (BTW, my own very first fanfics were Shinrei/Anna and Angelica/Tokito .... even though I usually really don't like Tokito!)

One of these days I'll write the Yuan/Akari story of my own dreams.   XD   I actually have sort-of plots for two stories about them, but the lack of recent conversation about the series has me blocked.
