I loved writing this. It went in directions I didn't even anticipate. I chose Gilgamesh because he was humanoid and because we know some interesting facts about him, but there's also enough left vague that I could fill in the blanks. And, since they added him into the re-release of FFVI, he just seemed to fit.
It was a real pleasure to explore what a relationship might be like between Espers. I'm really glad to hear that it worked.
