This is completely fabulous, with blurry-Venat and the detail on Cid's vest and how much he and Balthier do resemble each other. Also, with the rich and layered detail in the rest of the piece, I LOVE the starkness of the desk in the foreground, and that despite its plainness you added so much grain to the wood. And also, the patterning in the window behind them just draws so much attention to the points it brackets. *prrrrrrr*

Anyway. This really how some lovely colors, and the choice to have Venat not entirely... corporeal? Was a good one. It really brings across the fact that she's kind of. Not really. Well, you know what I mean.
