Oh, that's just beautiful. I love the warm colors you used, it really makes this look so loving and peaceful (which is quite a feat, considering the characters). And I'm extremely impressed with your watercolor skills; seriously wow-worthy.

Schuldig especially fascinates me here. The look in his eyes and the set of his lips makes him look almost sad, yet he is the one holding on to Yohji -- almost as if he's afraid Yohji will slip away from his grasp. Really intriguing, to say the least.

(You know, it's the weirdest thing... I painted this only using Raw Sienna, but somewhere among the painting, scanning, and photoshopping, Schuldig's hair still turned out orange! Guy undoubtedly has supernatural powers.) ;)

I'm so glad you like Schuldig in this. He was really challenging every step of the way. ;) It was really intimidating slicking back his iconic spiky hair!

Do you have a preferred WK pairing?

I can enjoy pretty much any WK pairing, but I have my favorites. ;) I think I really got turned on to Schuldig-Yohji through aoeliveshere's Harmonics Arc (her site's down, but she's moving her archives to this LJ). One of my recent Schu-Yo favorites is emungere's 30_lemons series. For me there's just something about these guys together... but WK is great for the flexibility of its pairings. ;D

Actually my favorite WK pairing is not very popular, that's Schuldig/Aya (Ran). I don't know exactly why bbut I like all the possibilities between those two characters event if it is not the most obvious pairing ^^.

But just like you, I can enjoy various pairings in this fandom, this must be the magical power of WK ;p! To tell you the truth, I have some difficulties with yaoi pairings involving Yohji, maybe because I see him as a perfect hetero... but maybe my mind could change.

It is indeed watercolor--and then photoshop. :D I agree, wc is so difficult! But it's fun to play around with. So I started with wc, then scanned and tinkered with the image in photoshop. ;)
