I know! It's sad how they never give any real indication of how Tetsu IS Wong and spent so much time among humans. I mean uh...D lets Chris play with him! oh man, if Leon had known, he would have had a FIT. :P

you know, in the original manga, there was a part that was left out of the Tokyopop edition. Have you seen it? A little minicomic about Tetsu pining after this other ewe-like creature (hot sheep girl in Tetsu-vision) in the shop. Leon felt bad for him and was giving him pointers on how to get the girl. Tetsu gives her flowers and it's all very lovey dovey until it cuts away...and the next thing you see, Tetsu's all streaming chibi tears because he got dumped, and the girl's got a chunk taken out of her wool, and they say how to Tetsu, desire and appetite are the same thing. ^_^
(And they actually say in the manga: Chris: Well, Tetsu always tries to eat Leon, so does that mean....? D: ...no comment.)
