Summary: Mornings in bed.
Prompt: July 25-49. The Sentinel, Jim/Blair: Scent-marking and biting - to tame the wolf you must get him married.
Lazy Mornings
Blair liked lazy mornings like these. Laying in bed and pretending the world outside didn't exist, that all there was was him, Jim, and a very, very comfortable bed.
He was pretty sure Jim liked them, too, because otherwise they'd be up, doing who knows what, most likely fixing something or another. When the older man wanted, he was rather focused on fixing everything. It was a step up from his more insane anal-retentive standards, but as long as Blair wasn't having to color code anything, he was happy.
Mornings like this were when they laid together, Jim slowly leaving markings on Blair's throat, shoulders, where ever else he could stick his mouth.
Jim told it it helped him, to smell his own smell all over Blair. Which made Blair itch to write down these details, to think of ways to test just how well Jim did smell.
But laying here and letting Jim do it always, always trumped just writing things down.
He wondered just how much he was like his own spirit animal, and if wolves really did mate for life when they took a mate. It was horrible cliche and almost tacky, but he thought maybe this was what it was.
And if he should make Jim buy him something nice to make up for this sneak wedding thing. Cause now that he was Jim's, wearing his mark and his scent, Blair didn't think he'd get away. Not when he had returned the bites and the marks.
Especially given the faint voice in his dreams, whispering "to tame the wolf you must get him married."
