It's always interesting to think about how different upbringings might change the way they relate to each other, which I think is why I've grown to really love Saiyuki AU/reinc fic. I used to hate it in other fandoms, especially GW, don't know why really. Anyhow! Beside the point. I'm glad you liked the story. :)
