I wasn't, originally, going to reply to this fic. I read it long after it was first posted, and I don't often review fics that are more than a few days old. (I have a few reasons for this, not the least of which is how few authors seem to have comment notification on....) But some comments from my friends have made me realize that, if I'm going to recommend this fic as one of the best of the comm--which I have (http://mad-rex.livejournal.com/3412.html)--then it's probably bad form not to let the actual author know how I feel. ^^;
I still haven't gotten around to playing KH2, unfortunately. (Meaning I've probably spoiled myself silly with this fic. =P ) But the roles of Roxas, Axel and Namine were small enough, and handled well enough, that I didn't feel lost for a moment here. Heck, I might not have even needed to know the original trio, what with how much of their personality comes through in this fic. Sora's bouncy and lovable, Kairi's playful and mischievous, and Riku...well, I almost want to call him the father figure, which I'm sure he'd just love. ^_~
What I really loved about the fic, though, was the incredible plot behind it. The prompt practically required a good one, of course, but the sheer depth to which you fleshed out this story is just fantastic. It was an engaging, entertaining, and very satisfying romp, full of twists and turns and perspective shifts and nuances. It was a long story, but it didn't feel like one at all; the pacing kept it moving briskly, and there was just so much packed in.
Seriously, this story is amazing. Neither my lack of game knowledge nor my prediliction against this threesome (in a sexual sense) kept me from loving the hell out of it. ^^ Kudos!
