This is beautiful. I'm saying that as someone who is incredibly weak to Sora/Riku/Kairi tragedy/hurt-comfort fics, but I have to say this is absolutely gorgeous.
I mean really, I love Riku like this, in this. I love Sora and Kairi not being their predictable selves and I can hear Kairi's voice saying "We felt you hurting." In fact, I could hear all their voices very, very clearly throughout.
The utter tragedy of these three breaks my heart every time and I feel for Riku - your reasons and justifications for his state of mind are spot on in my opinion.
I really love this, you were completely and one hundred per cent accurate in your interpretation of the prompt and I couldn't have asked for anything better. I'm genuinely grateful, because it got an emotional response from me which is something I always look for in fic, art and so on, but very rarely find.
