            Some part of Albert’s mind managed to thank himself for exhaling as he screamed. That way, he didn’t also drown. The way the Demon had him by the hair and by the hip, face to the bathwater and knees to hard tile, Albert had no other real concession to make.  It was indecent, it was ugly, and it was not entirely what he’d expected.

 

            He wondered if Grandfather had gone though this as well.

 

            But damn, if the Demon’s bony hide wasn’t hot on Albert’s back, wasn’t sending new steam through the tepid water, wasn’t curling Albert’s hair where his hand was fisted in it. And the smug, unwound snarls against the back of Albert’s neck spidered straight to his cock, twitching almost fearfully—shit—against the side of the bath.

 

            Albert heaved, “I’ve—I’ve sacrificed forty people so that you—would—aah—be beholden to my—will—”

 

            The Demon speared into him, scalding and not quite slick enough. “You get what you pay for,” he purred.
