Rating: PG-13

Prompt: Final Fantasy X, Auron/Jecht: Fighting for dominance - "Heh. I can't remember whether I wanted to win or not."
Summary: In the Calm Lands, two men prove themselves equal.
"The Calm Lands is such a deceptive name for this place," Jecht said, picking up a handful of gold from the coeurl's corpse. "That's the tenth fiend we've fought since we got here."
Auron wiped his blade and resheathed it. "We keep going. We should reach the travel stop by nightfall if we hurry."
A dozen more fiends attacked them and were defeated before the safe haven of Rin's travel bureau welcomed them in, with a hearty meal, warm fires, and soft beds.
"I'm terribly sorry. We have only one single room available. Our other room is for two people," Rin, or one of his agents, said.
"We can share," Jecht said, with a gesture that included himself and Auron. "The Summoner Braska should get a room to himself."
"Thank you for your understanding," Rin said. He handed them keys.
Inside the room, Jecht locked the door. "It's been too long since we had any privacy. Or an excuse to be in the same room."
Auron took two steps and pressed Jecht against the door. "Far too long, indeed." He pressed his knee between Jecht's thighs and kissed him.
Jecht slid his hands down Auron's torso, to his hips, then shifted his weight. He stood with both legs between Auron's, and picked him up. His burgeoning erection pressed against the other man's. Jecht took a cautious step forward, then another, until he reached the bed. He knelt over Auron, knee against his groin.
Before he could savor the moment, he was on his back, with Auron kneeling over him.
Auron leaned forward and murmured into Jecht's ear, "Do you think you can beat me?"
Jecht turned his head and nipped Auron's earlobe. "Heh. I can't remember whether I wanted to win or not."
Auron sat up, and his fingers traced the tattoo on Jecht's chest, followed the point down past his navel to the edge of his waistband. "I think you'll win either way."
