Newspaper

Cloud was going to beat the man in the head. He really was. And Zack was going to deserve all of it.

Wondering absently if he couldn't bribe one of Zack's fellow SOLDIERs into helping him, Cloud tugged at the hand that had curled around his waist band, fingers wiggling down against the small of his back. "Zack, we're on the train."

That just got him a grin from Zack, who leaned against him slightly. "You act like the car is full, Spike. We're the only ones here besides the homeless guy sleeping over there. Nobody here to notice anything at all." The grin turned more into a leer, and Cloud didn't hesitate hitting Zack in the gut with his elbow, drawing a grunt from his lover.

"I don't know how your brain works," Cloud muttered, "and I don't really want to. What is with you and molesting me in public?"

"Aw, that's not molesting. I can start if you'd like, though," Zack said cheerfully, grinning at the blond.

"Zack, you had your hand down the back of my pants. There was groping earlier today. I'm going to start carrying a newspaper and swatting your nose."

Laughter was his answer, and Zack draped his arm over Cloud's shoulder. "Just don't tell Seph that," he said, giving Cloud a hug. "He might start trying that as a deterrent." The look in his eyes changed, softened, just a little. "Besides, I like molesting you in public. You make all sorts of interesting sounds when you aren't trying to make sounds."

The expression on Zack's face as he said that made shivers go down Cloud's back. Damnit, how did Zack -do- that? It wasn't fair that the man could make Cloud feel all shivery without even touching him.

Cloud found himself pressed against the wall of the train, and involved in a very sudden, very distracting kiss. Very, very distracting kiss, and he found he didn't quite want to swat Zack for it. This time.

Didn't stop him from smacking the man upside the head when the hand went down the back of his pants again, though.

This? Is awesome. So cute and clever and I love the dynamic between them, from Cloud's irritated but not pulling away behaviour to Zack's explanation of why he likes molesting Cloud in public in the first place. Thank you very much for picking up this prompt.

Cloud is fun. He is not a pushover, and he doesn't let Zack get away with half the things Zack tries to get away with. But when he does like something, well, he likes it and isn't going to fight tooo hard.

Zack is just Zack. There is no other way to describe him, really.
