I've been slightly ill since around June and recovering. I logged on just to check in, check mail (644 emails waiting) and see how everyone is doing. I don't know when I'll be able to get another round organized; I'm hoping I can summon enough energy to get something going soon. I've missed you guys so very much! Life without fandom has been a harsh one.

Cheer me up and share your latest loves & obsessions. I hear from a couple of fandom friends that Eames/Arthur is all the rage. *g* Since I've been away, have you moved on to another fandom, another pairing, just returning to fandom ... I'd love to hear from the springkink family!

I'm mostly going back into old fandoms. I actually signed up for a Final Fantasy Big Bang and am trying to write 20,000 words of Kimahri/Rikku. I doubt I'll finish in time but I'm going to try.

Also I'm getting back into Pokemon of all things, though the games rather than the anime. Into my May/December ships there... eeeh.

As for new fandom, the most love has to go to Durarara!!. Guh, that series is awesome. Shizuo is absolutely fantastic. ♥

Yeah. Off and on I've been having a lot of respiratory problems. I haven't always taken care of myself the way I should; it's far easier for me to look out for others. This time I gave myself permission to take time for me and allow myself the time and rest to recover completely.

I believe I've heard of Durararara!! before. I'll have to read up on it.

Still deep in Saiyuki, though I've dabbled a bit in Good Omens. I've watched BBC Sherlock, which is awesome, and am visiting SoulEater and Ouran HS Host Club.

I am utterly obsessed with Pandora Hearts like I've haven't been obsessed with any fandom in years. Heartbreaking new chapter just came out today, posing a serious threat to my OTP Break/Liam. T_T It's gonna require much fic to compensate for the angst.
I'm also still into Slayers and edging into some new anime fandoms, and trying to get into new Who and Torchwood. ^_^

Glad you're feeling better, I truly love this community and I check it almost every day for new stories or to trawl through the older posts. Some days I just need a certain type of fix and I'm always assured I'll find it here.

I recently discovered and new fandom: "Two Flowers for the Dragon" (Ryuu no Hanawazurai). 15 year old Shakuya is the descendant of dragons and next in line to lead her family and rule the Oasis they care for. The leaders of the clan always marry someone from one of the other five founding families whom they're engaged to from a young age. To signify the engagement the flower that symbolizes the husband-to-be's family is tattooed onto both children's hand.

Shakuya's first fiancé Lucien went missing and was presumed dead so she became engaged to Kuwan, with a new tattoo on her other hand. Shakuya's magic has caused her flower tattoo to sprout new buds signifying how her love for Kuwan has grown. Five years after Lucien's disappearance he's returned to the oasis to reclaim his fiancée. The current clan leader has declared a contest between the two suiters to be decided by whichever of the two gains more flowers on her arms after a year.

It's silly and sweet with a strong dash of intrigue. Everyone's back story is very well developed and there's lots of potential for fic. It's practically built for threesomes and the author's almost said as much, but there's also room for het, yaoi and yuri pairings. Oh, and did I mention that Shakuya can shape-shift into a dragon when she gets pissed off? Sadly not a well-known series, but it's a lot of fun.

Ever since Metroid: Other M was released at the end of August, my fandork senses for that series have been tingling something fierce. FIERCE, I TELL YOU. It's really nice to see the series get some proper story time given that it's something that it's been screaming for for years.

I've also been getting back into Kingdom Hearts now that Birth by Sleep is in English. Still haven't played too much of it though (see above Metroid game for reason why). Don't really know what to think of the new characters yet.

And last but not least, Scott Pilgrim. Oh dear lord, Scott Pilgrim. Why did I wait so long to read the graphic novels? The movie was an awesome introduction to the characters and world, and the graphic novels are their own brand of ridiculous.

Hey, hope you feel better soon. I moved and have kept rather busy since, so I haven't had time to finish my last prompt. T_T

As far as fandoms, I'm still stuck on Slayers. I have this tendency to get ridiculously involved in a single fandom to the exclusion of all others. I write prompts for others, but that's about it.

BTW, kind of OT, but do you know when the next round will be? I run a Kinkfest on slayersadult (inspired by Springkink), and I try not to coincide with Springkink. If you're going to run it in November, I'll run Kinkfest in December, but if you're planning on later, I'm thinking of running Kinkfest in November.

Myself, I'm kind of vegetating, mostly gaming rather then watching anime anymore. I've been playing Baten Kaitos, both games in the series, idly wanting to see some Kalas/Guardian Spirit or, for some strange reason, Xehla/Lyude, and I recently finished Enslaved. Would love it if someone posted prompts for the game Darksiders next round, and I'll probably pounce on some BK or BKO prompts and Assassin's Creed. Am hoping for some Shin Megami Tensei prompts that will stir my muses, and will study the KH prompts, but I don't hold much hope there.

And FF7 Vincent/Cid or Cid/Vincent would make my day.
