Title: Do You Like Me Too?
Author: Bat
Rating: G, oh soooooo G
Warnings: FLUFF ALERT! Cute, adorable, cavity-inducing, sickening sweet, vomit spewing, FLUFF!
Prompt: [Feb. 14th] Fruits Basket, Hiro/Kisa: chocolate - “Roses are red and violets are blue…”
Word Count: 707
Summary: Hiro said he didn't want anything for Valentine's Day but Kisa couldn't resist.
A/N: Happy Valentine's Day! ._. Okay, I'm aware I wrote this for a kink comm, but... I couldn't see the prompt as anything but adorable once I started writing it. T-T I'm sorry (I'll write a new fic if it's not to the prompter's like - I do sorta have an idea for a kinkier fic). Enjoy anyway?

Do You Like Me Too?
Tohru had been the one to suggest that Kisa make chocolates for Hiro. Well, no, Kisa was already considering it, but Hiro had already made it clear that he thought the whole holiday was a waste of time. Still, Kisa was excited to get into the kitchen and make chocolates with Tohru's tutorage; the older teen only stepping in to help if something began to burn or was about to fall. Looking down at the box containing the finished product, Kisa did wonder if perhaps she should've let Tohru make them while she helped. That wasn't what Valentine's chocolate was about though, and her heart pounded in her chest when she saw Hiro approach. Shifting the package behind her, she smiled and greeted Hiro.
"Good morning, Hiro," Kisa said, kissing the boy on the cheek. "Happy Valentine's Day."
Hiro's face flushed for a second and he mumbled back the same greeting. His fingers drummed nervously against the package hid behind his back. He knew he had said that he didn't care for the holiday but he knew it would be something Kisa would like. Against his reluctance, Hiro went and got the orange haired girl a present, not expecting anything from Kisa in return.
"So, uh... Here." Hiro held the package out to Kisa, looking away and blushing.
Gasping, Kisa almost dropped the package in her own hands. She had not expected Hiro to have gotten her anything. Tears welled up in her eyes as she brought her package out from behind her back.
"I got you something too," she said, smiling brightly.
Wide-eyed, Hiro stared at the small green box in the girl's hands for a moment, holding his breath as if expecting Kisa to laugh and tell him she was joking. When she didn't, he took it with a timid hand, exchanging the little bag in his hand with the box in Kisa's. Tugging away the yellow bow on the box, Hiro found homemade chocolates inside. They were oddly shaped but he had a feeling Kisa was trying to make them look like sheeps. Across from him, Kisa squeed and hugged the stuffed bear she found inside the red bag.
"Thank you, Hiro!" Kisa said.
Smiling himself, Hiro tasted a chocolate. They were a little bitter but there was no way he would risk criticizing her hard work and ruin this moment.
"These are delicious," Hiro said. "Thanks."
"You're welcome."
Holding the bear up so she could examine if better, she realized there was a little note attached to it's stomach. "What's this?" She asked, removing the note and opening it up. "'Roses are red, violets are blue, I really like you, do you like me too?'"
Hiro choked on the second chocolate he had put in his mouth a moment ago and looked frazzled and embarrassed, looking around as if either looking for a place to hide himself or a candid camera. He opened his mouth to speak, to argue that he hadn't put the note on the bear, though he was willing to bet his baby sister, Hinata, that Shigure had something to do with it. 'How the bastard had found the bear is anyone's guess but the stupid dog is crafty', Hiro thought bitterly.
"Kisa, I..."
Kisa was hugging him, freezing all words and thought from Hiro's mouth and mind. He felt tears against his cheek as she pressed her face to the side of his. Panicking, he turned his head to look in Kisa's eyes and apologize. He didn't want her upset, especially not from a stupid Shigure prank. Except, when he did get his face around, Kisa pressed her lips to his, kissing him like he were a long lost lover. The stuffed bear in her hand made the back of his neck itch but he closed his eyes and stopped caring about all the little things that always irked him for once. There was no need for a front to hide his emotions right now. Never with Kisa, he finally realized.
"I like you too," Kisa said when she pulled away.
"Why are you crying?" Hiro asked, shocked by the whole scenario.
"Because I'm happy. Very happy."
When it finally clicked in Hiro's head, he smiled shyly. "Good."
