Title: Stars on Your Palm
Author: Bat
Rating: PG13
Warnings: Polyamory, het, romance, fluff
Prompt: [Feb. 13th] Doctor Who, Amy/Rory/Eleven: holding hands - you drew a star on the palm of my hand
Word Count: 614
Summary: Amy recounts to the Doctor about the first time she met Rory.
A/N: I thought I would experiment with actually writing someone talking for more than one or two lines at a time. Plus, Amy/Eleven/Rory = WIN. ^_^ (And I'm only like 30-40 percent sure they don't mention when Amy and Rory met on the show. D= Lemme know if I'm right or wrong.) Sorry for the late fic!

Stars on Your Palm
Amy held the Doctor's hand, kissing his knuckles gleefully. She then turned his hand over and placed a single kiss in the center of his palm. Grinning from where he watched over Amy's shoulder, Rory slid his hand down her freckled arm and stole one of her hands away from the Doctor.
"Do you remember the first time we met?" He asked, twining his fingers with Amy's.
"'Course, I do," Amy smiled, pressing her naked back against his chest.
"Tell me," the Doctor grinned, facing them and propping himself up on one elbow like a child eager for a bedtime story.
Amy and Rory exchanged glances over the former's shoulder, silently debating who should tell the story. After a moment, Rory flicked his wrist in cession, giving the redhead the go-ahead. Scooting up into a sitting position, Amy haphazardly propped herself up against the headboard, only mildly conscious that the blanket around her did little to hide her nudity beneath. Neither man complained.
"So after you left me waiting all night like a daft the first time," Amy began, looking at the Doctor, "I went to the playground to sort my mind out. I was torn between deciding whether you were an illusion or not. I suppose I looked mighty gloomy sitting there on a swing, not swinging. After a while, a football came rolling out of nowhere in front of me, yeah? Here comes a short, chubby kid --Rory -- running after it and he sees me sitting there all lost in thought and stops in front of me. He came up to me and asked what was the matter. So I says to him, 'A spaceman came to me last night and promised to take me to see the stars, but he didn't come back for me like he promised.'
"Rory looked at me in silence for a moment, and just when I was about to snap at him, he grabbed my hand..." Amy paused to grab the Doctor's hand again and turned it palm up. "Gently, he drew a star on the palm of my hand with his finger and says, 'I'm not a spaceman, but I promise to draw you as many stars as it takes to make you smile.' So he draws another on my palm, and another, and another, until I can actually almost see all these invisible stars on my palm. It sorta tickled too, which made me smile. We became best mates after that," Amy concluded, her finger lazily drawing a star on the Doctor's palm.
"Aye, and so much more," Rory said before kissing Amy's exposed hip.
The Doctor was silent for a bit, his look distant. Amy pinched his wrist, a little worried by the look on his face. Snapping out of it, he gave her a sad smile and sat up beside her, tugging the blanket they shared over his boxers unconsciously. Touching Amy's cheek softly, the Doctor took her hands and kissed her knuckles, a humble look in his eyes.
"I am so sorry about making that promise and leaving you for so long. It wasn't my fault, not completely, but I've explained that already. Still, at least you got to meet Rory and grow up with him, which might've never happened if I had taken you with me that night," he said.
"Aye, but it all worked out in the end," Amy said. Rory nodded.
"Yeah..." The Doctor agreed, still feeling some regret.
After a while, the three settled down to sleep. Rory hugged Amy's body from one side, while the Doctor and the redhead laid side by side, hands held together in hopes of never being separated again.
