Summary: Dealing with stresses
Prompt: July 6-56. Spider-Man (movieverse), Harry/Peter: Buddy sex - He's reached the point of giggling like a little girl.
Reactions
When he had moved in with Harry, Peter hadn't realized how much harder it was going to be to keep secrets. He loved his aunt, but there were things she just didn't see. At least he didn't think she did. Or if she did, she didn't say anything.
Harry, though, at times, Harry saw a lot more than Peter ever wanted him to.
The biggest problem, Peter thought, was that the people around him were the ones who got to deal with his reactions to what he did. Deal with the reactions, the bruises, the damage he was doing himself. Peter was tough, tougher than he had ever expected, but having people trying to shoot at him with guns got all sorts of reactions.
One of those nights, well, it had just been a bad night. He even had a scratch on his face from where a bullet had come too close. An inch more to the side, and some two-bit hood would have been able to brag he had taken down Spiderman.
It had been late when Harry had gotten home, even later than Peter, and had found Peter sitting by the window, scratch just a pink mark now, still dealing with it. Peter knew when Harry had gotten home, knew the man was about to touch him just before the hand landed on his shoulder. Didn't matter much to him at the moment. He'd reached the point of giggling like a little girl. Reaction, all of it, but it was a good stress reliever.
Kissing Harry was another one.
That had gotten a strangle protest, and he had let go, wondering if he had pushed it too far this time. The pair of them had done some experimenting, and it was something nice. Nothing permanent, but nice all the same. As Harry studied him, Peter wondered if he had tread into no-man's land.
"Idiot," the taller boy said finally. "Got a huge and extremely comfortable bed, and you were going to jump me in here? Come on." He tugged Peter to his feet and started down the hall.
Peter let him, a small smile on his face. Harry was his buddy, the best friend he had, and he knew that the man would always be there for him.

Date: 2007-07-07 02:40 pm (UTC)The rest was awesome cool though, and I love Peter's realization that he's tougher than he thought he could be. Harry is also very cool - just the right mix of quiet support and gentle direction that Peter needs right now.
