Starting Over!

We are starting over this round. All prompts from previous rounds will be discarded as the list keeps growing and growing with no end in sight. So this round is all about fresh starts! However, please feel free to throw an old prompt back into the pot if you're dying to see it claimed or would like to claim it yourself.

Who can participate?
Anyone age 18 and over.


How does it work?
You'll be asked to submit as many prompts as you'd like to the challenge.


To submit a prompt please leave a comment to this post using the following format - a number (pick from 1 to 31); fandom, pairing/threesome or moresome: a kink/cliche or fannish trope - a phrase/word/idea/lyric

Ex. 19; Sex Pistols, Yonekuni/Shiro: Claiming or establishing ownership (private or public; by gesture, word, or ritual; with sex; with a collar and leash; with scent-marking or by biting) - I could bring you so much pleasure.

[Please remember to format your prompts as we've indicated above. This will make the prompt gathering for the claim post a great deal easier for your mods. Thank you!]

There's no limit to the number of prompts you can submit and submitting them does not obligate you to participate.

One last detail - anonymous comments will not be added to the prompt list, so please log in under your username!


What happens to the requests?
All will be gathered and posted to a master list.


How do I sign up?
We'll gather all prompts and list them under specific days in March. Prompts can be claimed a total of six times (three for fic and three for art).


How many words am I expected to write?
The minimum is 100 and there is no max.


Round X Schedule
Prompt Submission begins May 9th, 2010.
Prompt Submission period ends on May 21st, 2010.
Prompt List goes up by May 22nd, 2010.
Claiming begins on May 23rd, 2010, 10 AM EST.
Posting begins on July 1st through July 31st.


All comments will be screened. Bring it on!


And just a second reminder as these are the two most frequent mistakes with prompting; don't forget to be signed in (anonymous prompts will not be added to the final prompt list) and to include a number between 1 and 31 in your prompt.

If you have applied to join springkink but have not been accepted it's probably because we need you to confirm that you are 18 or older. You can simply add a statement somewhere on your profile page stating that you are 18 or over the age of 18 or add a birth year listing. Do whatever you feel most comfortable with but we need to know that you're old enough to play. Thank you!

A Few Of Your Favorite Things ... (For Round X)

A fabulous person by the name of galerian_ash *g* had the wonderful idea of getting feedback from writers and artists interested in participating in springkink but who've sadly never run across fandoms or pairings that appeal to them or stir their muses.

So, for my writers and artists, what would you love to see show up on the prompt list? Is there a fandom or pairing that you haven't tackled before but would to do so as part of this round? Are you currently obsessed with a character and would be pleasantly surprised if his or her name showed up on the Round X list? Can the RPF fen get some love? Glee? White Collar? A frustrated Dean topping Castiel from the bottom, anyone? For bandom folks, maybe Brendon jacking off while in clothes/briefs that Ryan left behind (post-split)?
