A/N: I am SO sorry that this is late!! please forgive?
Nomiya sometimes wonders if he chases Yamada because she is beautiful and loyal and innocent or because Mayama protested so much about her attraction.
She is beautiful and sometimes when Nomiya looks at her, he can’t believe that Mayama never took advantage of that.
She is loyal and Nomiya knows that if he can turn her attention to him, she will never stray.
She is innocent and Nomiya dreams of the softness of her skin, and showing her how to become undone.

For Christmas, when she is still red cheeked and joy is in her eyes, he takes her hand and leads her away from the party. Yamada doesn't voice her confusion, but gladly follows him to his car. For the first time in a long time Nomiya feels nervous around a woman. Her hand is dry in his clammy one. Her smile sincere when she asks where they are going.
Nomiya know that he looks confident. He always looks confident. But at the moment, with her full attention on him, and not on him-as-Mayama's-coworker, Nomiya does not feel quite so sure of himself. Yamada isn't so quick to recognize seduction.

The room is bathed in greens and blues and reds as the Ferris wheel spins outside the window. Yamada's eyes are glassy, but she hasn't had anything to drink since leaving the party, and even then Nomiya has made sure that she didn't drink too much. He wants her to remember this. He wants her to remember him doing this to her. Being her first and showing her everything.
Her skin is softer than he imagined. Her cries sweeter than his last lover's. And what undoes him at last, isn't her clutching hands, or clumsy kisses; it's his name that she calls, and not Mayama's.

I have a thing for this pair and was really disappointed not finding a lot of fanfiction about Yamada and Nomiya, put aside high-rating stories. Not to mention really good ones :) You made my evening! Thank you!
