SPK's Fall Round

How does it work? You'll be asked to submit prompts, as many prompts as you'd like, to the challenge. Each prompt should include: fandom, character/pairing/threesome or moresome , a kink/cliche or fannish trope, a phrase/word/idea/lyric and a number (pick from 1 to 30). (Ex. Supernatural/Angel, Dean/Gunn, begging or pleading for sexual release, "laying under this spell you cast on me" - 28 or Stargate: Atlantis, Ronon/McKay, coming quickly (in one's pants) - 'If I’ve gone overboard then I’m begging you to forgive me'- 15) There's no limit to the number of prompts you can submit and submitting them does not obligate you in any way to participate.

What happens to the requests?
I'll gather all prompts and list them under their corresponding days in October.

How do I sign up?
A master list of prompts will be posted. You sign up by leaving a comment with your selections to that entry. Prompts can be claimed a total of four times (twice for fic and twice for art). Collaborations are welcome.

How many words am I expected to write?
The minimum is 100 and there is no max.

Prompt Submission Begins - Today, August 18th
Prompt Submission Ends - 11: 55 PM EST Tuesday, August 28th
Claiming Begins - Noon EST Saturday, September 1st
Posting - October 1st thru October 31st

Just a quick question! Should we submit our prompts in the old sentence form like we've done in the previous rounds, or should we use the (bolded) form above?

Also, yay for claiming on a Saturday! Won't have to worry about work keeping me away then ^_^b

Whatever's fine with me! But I'm guessing you'll post all the prompts in the sentence form, right? So if I do that it'll be a lot less work for you; you can just copy&paste everything that way :D

I think I'm going to start over new, but ask folks to resubmit those prompts that didn't get picked up during the Summer round to give them another chance.

I have a question.

I don't understand what the number is for. Do I just have to pick a random number from 1 to 30 (why?), or does it actually have some meaning (like, say, the number of ficts/arts I hope to get)?

Hope you don't mind me butting in (I'm not a moderator or anything), but I do know the answer to your question and figured I might as well reply ^_^;

The number you supply will decide what day the prompt is for. So if you supply the number 22, the prompt will be listed under that date in the list that animadri will post, and the resulting fic/art will be due on that day as well.
