Huge thanks go out to the lovely galerian_ash for helping me keep track of all the claims. We should be up to date now. Please drop me a line if you don't see your claim and I'll figure out where I went wrong.

Instructions -

• Fic: If your story is over 100 words and/or contains sensitive or explicit material, squick or character death, it must be behind cut tags

• Recipients (of the fic/artwork posted) will be revealed at the end of each day via sk_updates. Recipients: Feel free to leave feedback anonymously if you want to keep them wondering until the update or have mercy and reveal yourself under your LJ name. *G*

Argh! I've just realized that I'm going to be away the day my first fic is due (7th Oct). Should I post it before or after? If I locked it, would there be a way you could open it on the correct date? Sorry to be a pain!

Another possibility would be to get a friend to post it for you on that day, just make sure you've explained what to do to them and got the Author/Artist: bit filled in right ^^.

But if we show our ficts in other Communities and LJs too, by posting a link to our LJ in each of those other places as well as in springkink we could get all the feedback in just one entry, it would be much comfier :/

What lady_ganesh said. It makes your mod's job that much easier. I've asked that it be done mainly for archiving purposes. I'd like to have all responses to prompts in one location.

Also, if you for some reason would delete your journal at some point, the comm will still have the story available for readers and not just a header with a broken link.

Also, I may have to get someone to post my first few prompts. Starting the day before my first one is due, I'm going to be moving house, and there's a distinct possibility I'll *gasp!* be without internets for a couple weeks.

Pardon me for commenting with a minor detail, likely applicable only to me.

I have a fic nearly ready for posting on the assigned date, but am not sure if my application to join the community as a member has been received. Will I be able to post even if my status in the community isn't official? Any advice in the matter would be appreciated.

This is a really fun challenge, and the archived stories are just wonderful. Thanks so much to the organizers and helpers that make it all possible. ^_^

FYI: I am moving house this weekend, and may or may not be without the intarwebs for a week. So, any fics I have due this coming week (my next is due Monday 10/8) may be posted late. With any luck, I'll still be able to post them on time. I decided that it wasn't a good idea to have someone else post for me, as it seems I always find one little thing or another to tweak as I'm doing the actual posting.

At any rate, I'll try to snag some time at a public WiFi on Monday to post my Petshop of Horrors fic, but I thought I'd mention the possibility of tardiness just in case.

Is it allowed to drop a prompt? I have two of my prompts done, but the third one is due around the time my professor decided to pop a random mid-term so I won't have any time to write it. If not, then I'll try.

Um, I actually got active (in a lurkish way) in this comm only recently, and I was wondering if there was a time limit for claiming prompts? I looked, but I couldn't find any rule specifically pertaining to this.
