Title:  Snow White Queen
Author: belladonna12
Rating:  R
Word count:  350
Summary:  ‘You belong to me…’ ‘Never.’  ‘Always.’
A/N:   rather twisted, and dark.  Not to sure I like this piece.  The title’s taken from the song Snow White Queen by
Evanescence.  It ends abruptly, so I do apologize for that.
Disclaimer: I don’t own the ideas for FFVII or Sailor Moon, nor am I making any money off of this.
Prompt:
Final Fantasy VII/Sailor Moon, Sephiroth/Sailor Saturn: Male domination - “She’d never been so aroused in her life.”

Snow White Queen

Hotaru snarled at him, lashing out with the Silence Glaive.  She didn’t know this tall outsider, with his haunting silver hair and green, cat like eyes.  He claimed he knew her, though.  He called her several different names.  Osiris, Thanatos, Hine-nui-te-pō(1).  It wasn’t until he’d called her Shinigami that Hotaru realized what he was doing.

Listing the names of death gods.  He knew what she was, and didn’t fear her.

They cost her, those seconds she realized what he was doing.  He had her down, pinned by the freaking long sword he carried.  He smiled down at her as he kicked the Silence Glaive away, something brittle and mad and happy in his eyes.

“I’ve won, my Hine-nui-te-pō.  You can’t get away from me this time.”  He seemed amused at her struggles.  “Mother wants me to kill you.  She fears you.  I, however, adore you.  I’ve waited so long to find you.”  He knelt down, stroking her hair even as she tried to struggle away.  “You belong to me.”

Hotaru hated him, and hated what he did to her.  She’d never been so aroused in her life.  Still, he claimed that she belonged to him.  She was Death, Destruction and Rebrith.  She belonged to no one.

“Never.”  Her calm, defiant answer seemed to amuse him.  Then again, almost everything she did seemed to amuse him.

“Always.”  He countered before he kissed her.  He tasted of blood and pain and death.  Sorrow and madness and desperate hope.  Hotaru realized she knew him after all.  There had been a point just before the universe fractured and became a multiverse.  They’d stood there, together.  He’d called her his Hine-nui-te-pō, she’d called him her dark angel.  He’d disappeared shortly after that, presumed a casualty of Chaos.  He drew back from the kiss, smiling.

“Do you remember now? I’ve missed you, Hine-nui-te-pō.  So much that it drove me out of madness to find you again.”  Hotaru placed a finger to his lips, smiling.

“Hotaru.  I’m Hotaru now.”  He gently took her hand in his own, before standing to begin pulling the sword out.

“I’m Sephiroth.”

Ooooh, very nice, very intruiging! Definitely darker than the ficverse, but still just as powerful and, in a way, as touching. The idea of Sephiroth being drive OUT of madness to find her was so awesome.

The ending was rather interesting. WHen it says that he begins pulling his sword out, I wasn't sure what that meant. Does it mean it was embedded in the ground and he's pulling it out? Or is he pulling it out of his sheath, and if so... is he gonna kill her? ?_? I like the element of mystery that ending added... everything SEEMS like a happy reunion, and perhaps it is and they'll ride off into the sunset together, but there's a chance things are about to go very wrong... ;-)

Great stuff!

Normally, I'm not a fan of dark stuff, but I really like this piece! It's darkly romantic. I love how you portrayed the inner conflict Hotaru has within herself, between attraction and detestation--well maybe not detestation, but some kind of dislike for this stranger who dares trying to claim ownership of her. It's a very interesting, poignant scene. The ending kind of scares me though because I'm not sure what happens. The first time I read this, I thought he had killed her, and that he was pulling the sword out of her body. Now, that I read it again, I'm not so sure because he gently takes her hand to help her stand. Then again, the sword may have not killed her because she can heal which ties in with "Bleed it Out." Keep writing.
