Title: Hide & Seek
Author: Ladyofshadow
Rating: R
Warnings: noncon, implied rape
Word count: 200
Prompt: games amid chaos - WWII setting, high society, blackout.
“Come out; come out wherever you are…”
Hisoka shivered in the darkness. Why was this gentleman after him? Why didn’t he trust this man of society? What was it about this Doctor Muraki that made him run?
“You shouldn’t be out of bed. Bad things happen to little boys who leave the safety and warmth of their blankets. There’s a war, child. We wouldn’t want you to be attacked by the enemy.”
Hisoka pressed against his hiding place. He prayed that the tree would shelter him.
“Found you.”
Hisoka was grabbed, wrists pinned over his head against the tree. “Leave me alone..please!”
“But, you’re so cold, so vulnerable,” Muraki said, “and so alone.” He pressed his body against Hisoka.
“Please..I don’t feel well, take me back to the shelter,” Hisoka whimpered.
Shells exploded across town and the screams began.
“You’re much safer here,” Muraki murmured. His hand slithered beneath the hospital gown.
“No..please..stop!”
Muraki took him in the light of battle.
Windows covered in black hid the act; air sirens covered Hisoka’s cries for help.
Hisoka never should have wandered away from the hospital. At least there, when the shelter collapsed, he would have had a quick death.
