For the following prompt:
Pirates of the Caribbean, Will/Elizabeth: in a bucket/tub of saltwater - "I'm riding the sea in my soul."

***

It took some effort for Will and his crew to transport the bathtub from the Flying Dutchman to the shore. The boat capsized minutes after it left the larger ship, leaving the tub lying on its side in the surf. Will pushed and dragged the grey stone basin through the sand, pebbles and seaweed. Thankfully, the old tub was undamaged through its ordeal, despite the minute cracks, chips and stains of years past.

"Quite a lot of trouble for a lady’s bath," Elizabeth looked both guilty and amused, as Will panted, belly up on the beach.

"Anything for my King," Will saluted in deference to his wife, sighing in exhaustion.

The effort was worth it. The tub was heavy and sturdy enough for Will to sit on the edge, with his feet dangling in the saltwater. Elizabeth stretched out, full length, as she bathed.

Will wished he had better toiletries to supply his beloved. He imagined, as the governor’s daughter, that the young woman bathed in a fine, white porcelain tub. Her servants poured in heated water, but not too hot as to avoid scalding her flawless, delicate skin. Elizabeth would have bathed in water scented with perfumes imported from France or extracted from the blooms of the Caribbean. Her arms, legs, torso and hair would have smelled of roses or lilac. She would have scrubbed herself with a clean cloth, then dried off in a warm, fluffy towel.

Now, the Pirate King bathed in cold saltwater, the best Will could provide under the circumstances. There were bits of seaweed left in the water. Will did his best to scoop out the fish. He had no perfumes or oils. He found a sponge from the sea to scrub her clean. Elizabeth kept a tri-fold hat on her head, to keep the hair off her shoulders, and to keep the sun off her face.

"I hear seaweed is good for the skin," Elizabeth said, as she scrubbed her arms. From Will’s position at the foot of the tub, he could see that Elizabeth’s skin had changed, along with the rest of her body. Her skin was bronzed by the sun. Her hair was wind-swept and bleached in streaks of light gold. She was stronger, slightly more muscular, from her training with swords. It made Will desire her even more than when she was a port princess, as his eyes traveled from her long legs to her flat stomach to breasts that peaked ever-so-slightly out of the bath water. No longer a delicate porcelain doll, she was a woman of the sea, a true pirate’s companion.

Elizabeth looked at Will, looking at her. She smiled, tilting her hat backward, feeling a bit saucy. He was the husband, but she was his King. He would have to obey her every whim.

Elizabeth stretched out a leg, and wiggled her toes, "Are you going to keep leering at my breasts or are you going to help scrub your King’s back?"

With a big grin on his face, Will tore off his clothing and jumped into the tub with a splash. Elizabeth screamed with laughter as Will embraced her roughly. They kissed, as the water sloshed around in the tub. The captain of the Flying Dutchman pulled his wife onto his lap, kneeling upright, as he took the sponge and made a slow, lazy effort in cleaning her back. Will preferred to use the palms of his hands over the sea-sponge to massage his wife’s back, and Elizabeth approved the change of method with deeper kissing.

They rocked together, like waves against the sand, as bathing turned into love-making. Will settled himself into the harbor of Elizabeth’s thighs. Elizabeth gasped as Will plunged into her, sending a rush of cool water in with him. She moaned as the sea and her husband gently crashed into her. They bobbed in the water together, skin rubbing against skin, united by the sea.

They knew they would have to be separated for ten years. It was the law of the Flying Dutchman. Although they would be physically parted, Will and Elizabeth understood that their souls would always be as one, as the sea connected them to each other. They were children of the sea, they belonged to the sea. Elizabeth’s soul would carry Will as the winds carried the Dutchman across the oceans.

And one day, the ocean would bring them back together again.
