Title: Deserving Target
Author: Laylah
Rating: R
Word count: 335
Summary: He thinks he would hate her, if he could.
He thinks when he has the capability again he's going to hate her. He's looking forward to that. He can remember what it's like to hate someone, if he tries hard, and he's fairly certain that Larxene is an entirely deserving target. She's brash and confident and entirely too forward, taking what she wants even if that means climbing straight onto a lab table and pinning him down with her knives. She's shameless and selfish, her robes unzipped, one hand fingering herself while she rides him and the other hand tweaking one of her own nipples, and he knows that if she finishes before he does she'll just get up and leave. She's feral and petty and beautiful, and she uses all of it to her advantage, but this time, at least, he manages to salvage some physical pleasure if not his dignity out of the encounter.
"You're contemptible," Vexen says, when Larxene shudders to orgasm on top of him at last.
She smiles. "It's cute that you think I care," she says, leaning down over him. He's fairly certain someone else would kiss, now, fairly certain he remembers that correctly. Larxene bites instead.
"If you're quite done," Vexen says, twisting away from her mouth, "some of us have actual work to do."
"Ooh," Larxene says, giving him her pretending-to-be-impressed face. "Don't let me keep you from anything important." She still doesn't move until he tries to sit up and dislodges her.
He feels sticky. He tries to regain his composure. "I wouldn't expect you to recognize important research when you saw it."
Larxene's mouth curves into that nasty little smile she does so well. "You dropped your important research the second I came in here," she says, and it would do no good to point out that he can't work with her pestering him. She already thinks too much of herself. "You get plenty out of our little arrangement."
When he can, he's going to hate her with all his heart.

Date: 2007-04-03 01:13 am (UTC)It seemed like Axel would have been the obvious choice for the pairing, which was why I didn't choose him -- it seemed like it'd be more fun to experiment a little, as it were. And Vexen's a lot closer to his lack of humanity, which I have a lot of fun with. (And Larxene is just awesome, end of story. ^^)

Date: 2007-04-02 09:02 pm (UTC)That was great! She is perfect - I've always admired the way in KH the writers don't have the Nobodies don't give in to sentiment, they simply take what they want, and you've captured that perfectly here.
Fantastic stuff!

Date: 2007-04-03 01:15 am (UTC)It's one of my favorite things about writing most of the Org (and one of my favorite things about Roxas is the way he disrupts that in the rest of them) -- the way they don't have emotional attachments, even though they know what such things are. I love that kind of borderline territory. ^^

Date: 2007-04-02 11:34 pm (UTC)Larxene is SUCH a complete and utter bitch. And you know you love her for it
even if she has to throw you down and MAKE you like it. Vexen's exasperation with her only makes this better.no subject
Date: 2007-04-03 01:16 am (UTC)And yes. I do love her for her total lack of shame, and her total lack of conscience, and her ability to play hardball with the boys just fine. yay.

Date: 2007-04-04 03:14 am (UTC)I really just can't get enough of the ways that the Organization approach emotions without having them. It's such a fascinating concept. There will be more of that sort of thing from me as the month goes on. *cough*
