Title: Gun

Summary: Some mornings, Agon wakes up early.
A/N: A drabble.


Waking up to stare into the barrel of a gun (fire-arms are for sissies, he's always felt; for people lacking the skill and patience to handle a blade, but recently, he's seen reason to amend that opinion; fire-arms are for sissies and for Hiruma) - he feels a moment's panic, quickly suppressed, visible for only a fraction of a second, if even that long (Hiruma's noticed, he's sure); he keeps a knife on his nightstand, only he doesn't sleep with one (he's got his limits, not to mention that one of those silly bitches whom he picks up for a night of something less dangerous, less permanent and less satisfying than what he's got going on with Hiruma might get herself cut, and where would his reputation go then, getting a girl injured by accident?). Hiruma, he thinks, sleeps with his guns. Hiruma's a little batshit crazy that way (and many other ways, too; that's what makes him interesting, of course.)

"I've got morning-practice; I'm going to take a shower," Hiruma announces. There's a nice couple of bruises that Agon can see and claim credit for, but then again, he's got some bruises of his own to match. Hiruma may like guns, but he's hardly helpless without them.

Grunting a "Whatever" he pretends not to notice the gun, not to care, and to go back to sleep - staying awake all the time he can hear the sound of the shower (guns aren't waterproof, surely) and, after it stops, the barely audible noise of Hiruma leaving.
