I'm not had a word with animadri about this yet - had completely forgotten about it, actually! - but I would say leave it to your own discretion. We already have cuts on adult content, moderated membership, and the option to friends-lock adult content if desired, so I would say it's up to you!

Thought as much but had to check :). As long as someone has an LJ they can comment, even if they're not a member (anonymous comments and as a result OpenID comments still aren't allowed). So yes, members-only commenting has been removed.

I'm going to be on vacation for two of the days that I have prompts for, would it be okay for someone else to post my fics for me? I'd have the author name in the header information for them to post the whole thing...

That would be absolutely fine :), it's been done before with users who are off ill/on holiday for a while but have their fics completed. As long as the author information is clear, that's fine :).

At the moment, there seem to be two tags for the Fullmetal Alchemist-fandom: one reads 'Fullmetal Alchemist' and one reads 'Full Metal Alchemist'. Might the second one (it being the less often used of the two) be eliminated and replaced with the first one where it was attached?

(The same goes, to some degree, for the tags 'ouran' and 'ouran high school host club', although I'm not sure which version would be preferable there.)

Will have a look at these later :), Ouran in particular to see what the preferred tag is on those. Possibly after this round if the Ouran tag seems split fairly evenly we'll put up a little vote to see what's preferred in the long run, but I'll have to look at the workload first!

Two questions, hope they don't seem too silly.

1. I noticed that the user info is talking about the summer session--part of which has already taken place--but I can't find any list of prompts. In what particular way am I being an idiot in this scenerio?

2. I'm not sure if you'll see this on time, but unfortunately, I tried to post a fic I have due today, only to find that I never became a member! Unfortunately, I only have until 4:30 pm Pacific Time before I have to be somewhere, so would posting it later be all right, provided you don't have a chance to get to this before then?

Sorry about the delay in getting back to you on both of these; the userinfo just needs updating at some point (I'm unable to edit this as, while I'm a moderator, animadri is the maintainer).

The same applies to memberships going through, although I'm also a bit concerned that LJ mustn't be sending out acknowledgement messages at the minute as a few people with posting access have said the message stating their membership came through hasn't ever been received.

Either way, it's puzzling! I'll look into it with animadri. Sorry for the delay!
