Summary: Ferio finally tells Fuu what she makes him feel like.
Author's Notes: I apologize if the happy couple here aren't portrayed right. I, sadly, do not have all the manga yet (Damn you, JB and B&N!), but I tried my best, none-the-less.
Ferio took a deep breath, then spoke, “Fuu?”
Fuu turned to see him, and smiled. “Yes, Ferio-sama?”
“There...there’s something that I wish to tell you,” he explained as he sat next to her. He could hear a few birds singing in the branches above them, but otherwise the two were alone. Good. He didn’t want anyone else around for this--not even one of Ascot’s “friends.”
“Eh? What is it? Is there something wrong?”
“No, no...nothing’s wrong. Just...I just wanted to tell you...” Ferio took a deep breath, hoping that the blush on his cheeks weren’t noticeable, and finally spat out, “You are one of the oddest women I’ve ever met, and not because you’re from another world. You always find a way to get yourself into a lot of trouble--and for no apparent reason, no less. There are times when I just can't figure you out. Some...some might say that you’re a know-it-all. But...”
“...But?”
“...I like you being all calm and collected in the middle of a crisis. You’re very good at keeping your head in battle. You can shoot anything down at any distance. And...you’re one of the most intelligent women I’ve ever met. You know so much about why the plants are green and why the skies are blue... How the earth shifts and moves by itself... You even know how stars and worlds are born. I...I love you for being so smart and wise and pretty...”
The green-haired man got down on one knee and took one of her hands in his own. “Fuu...I love you. I need you by my side--if only so that I could become as smart and wise as you. Please...stay with me... Teach me all that you know.”
Fuu’s eyes filled with tears of joy. “Y-you really want me to stay here?”
Ferio's eyes met her's. “With all my heart.”
