Prompt: Transformers, Starscream/Megatron: power struggles - Starscream finally one-ups Megatron
A/N: I'm sorry it's late. School and other things caught up with me, and I didn't have a chance to post it before now.
Starscream growled, annoyed that he hadn't been able to defeat Megatron yet. He'd tried all but one tactic that he was sure wouldn’t work. "Might as well try it, anyway," he muttered to himself. "If it doesn't work, it just means the same thing will happen." He smirked as he entered Megatron's throne room. Without a second, thought, he rushed at Megatron, surprised the tyrant with his blunt tactic.
Megatron growled as Starscream's laser hit him square in the chassis. He leapt up, trying to get over the jet, only to have another laser hit him in the back, knocking him forward. He muttered a curse as he was bombarded with more, finally losing consciousness.

Megatron woke ties up on the floor of the throne room. He looked around and saw all of the Decepticons gathered there, with Starscream on his throne.
Starscream smirked as he looked around, sitting on what was once Megatron's throne. He looked down at the former leader off the Decepticons and burst into laughter. "You thought I would never defeat you," he screeched. "Well, I did. I have proven that I should be the leader of all Decepticons." He looked around at what was now his army." "Now, we shall be able to defeat the Autobots once and for all!"
Megatron glared at the traitorous jet. He had been replaying what happened over and over, but he couldn't figure out how Starscream had managed to defeat him; he had been sure that the obnoxious second-in-command would lose. All of Starscream's previous attempts - the bomb, the laser, the trap to get him to chase the Allspark shard - had failed. "I will make you pay for this," he growled, struggling to get loose. "Once I am free, you will wish you had never crossed my path."
"Unless I deactivate you now. I could, you know. That, however, would take all of the fun out of this. I have other, better plans for you. If you behave, you'll enjoy it, too." Starscream looked around the room. "All of you, out. Now. Back to your stations." He waited for everyone to clear out before he stood and walked over to Megatron.
"And just what are you planning to do with me?" Megatron growled as the new leader of the Decepticons pulled him to his feet. He was tempted to bite down on Starscream's fingers as the other traced his jawline and cheeks. "And you are doing what now? There is nothing you can gain by doing this."
"You know exactly what I'm doing, Megatron. I managed to defeat you by attacking you head-on because you weren't expecting that. You've been defeated, so you'll just have to deal with it. I was your personal servant for so long." Starscream leaned in closer. "Now you are mine." Without another word, he yanked on the leash that he was forcing the other to wear, forcing the other to follow. 'I'm going to enjoy every second of this,' he thought as he pulled Megatron into his private quarters.
