Prompt: Transformers, Blaster/Trackes - reunited lovers - We've got a thing that's called radar love/ We've got a line in the sky!
A/N:
"You have to go," Blaster whispered, cupping Tracks' cheeks in his hands. "Everything is going to be just fine. I promise." He pulled away from his lover, looking around, for some way to escape. "I'll get out of here and come find you as soon as I can. Make sure you don't get caught."
Tracks opened his mouth to protest, only to be cut off by a sharp look from Blaster. "I'll get help and come back for you," he said, grabbing one of Blaster's hands. "Just...wait for me, Blaster."
Blaster smiled and nodded. "I love you, Tracks."
"And I love you." Tracks hesitated for another moment before he ran off, hoping to run into some of the Autobots; he knew his only way to help his lover was to find them.
#
Tracks onlined with a start, looking around; he hadn't dreamt of his lover in a long time, and he didn't know what had brought that memory back to him. He knew he didn't like it, though. He looked over, at a picture file of the two of them together. 'I didn't keep my promise after all. I'm sorry, Blaster.' He curled in on himself, wishing he could move on, but knowing he never would. He sighed, rolling onto his back and just staring up at the ceiling, humming softly. He'd heard the tune from Jazz just a few days before, and, for some reason, it just stuck in his head. "We've got a thing that's called radar love, we’ve got a line in the sky," he sang softly.
"Really now?" a voice asked from the doorway. "That would explain how I managed to find you so easily."
Tracks jumped up and stared at the doorway, optics wide. "B-Blaster?" he asked. "B-But how? I mean...I thought..." He broke off, receiving no answer from Blaster. He turned away. 'This is just another dream. I'll probably wake up any minute and not see him there.' He nearly jumped when he felt arms wrap around him, when he felt the other's weight on the berth behind him. "Is this real?"
"Yes." Blaster kissed the back of Tracks' neck, smiling. "I'm really here, Tracks."
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"I broke my promise. I didn't come back for you like I said I would." Tracks shook his head, pulling away from Blaster. "I..."
"I don't hold something like that against you, Tracks. You have to realize that I was in the middle of a zone controlled by the Decepticons."
"Still...I should have at least gone back on my own. I shouldn't have even left you to begin with."
Blaster sighed, pulling Tracks back against him. "Stop. None of this could have been avoided." He pulled Tracks into a kiss, pressing the other down onto the berth. He wanted to distract the other from thinking about what had happened in the past.
Tracks returned the kiss, offlining his optics, letting his hands run up the other's sides. ::I missed you so much.::
::I missed you, too.:: Blaster pulled out of the kiss smiling. "Now, how about we get some rest?" he said, nuzzling Tracks' neck. "I'm exhausted, and you look like you're going to offline on me at any moment."
Tracks smiled weakly, but nodded, pulling Blaster down beside him. He curled up against the other, glad that his lover was finally with him again.
"Don't worry. I'll be here when you wake up." Blaster smiled as he pulled Tracks closer. "And, when you do, we can catch up." He kissed his lover's forehead, letting himself slip into his first peaceful recharge since he and Tracks had been separated.
