Prompt: 17th - Suikoden V, Arshtat/Ferid - madness during sex - After this, he decided, he'd encourage Arshtat to top in the future.
When he first laid eyes on Arshtat Falenas, Ferid Egan knew he was going to get in a lot of trouble.
Especially after she made him fight in the Sacred Games and won against that towering lump of muscles from the Barows family, and the Godwins was literally giving him the homicidal look. But it was not after they received the news that Queen Falzrahm was dying, that he has this ominous feeling hanging over him. Subsequently, Falena crowned his wife as Queen, and his darling little Lymsleia future queen, and that left him as the Consort King/Commander.
But he could take out their enemies just fine, and he hit Armes hard enough to make them feel it for years to come. Then came that advice from Lucretia about securing the Sun Rune, and the front lines suddenly seemed like a much better place than his own bed.
The worst thing was the fact that she has absolutely no recollections about it. Such a shame, really, when Arshtat's actually very timid in bed.
She placed a hand on his bare chest, raking her finger nails on his skin and Ferid noticed from her ragged breath that he's lying next to a stranger. "Aren't you satisfied?" she asked mockingly.
"Snap out of it," Ferid said, and her forehead shone blindingly for a moment.
Sixteen years of marriage would remove all the chemistry, most say, and tonight he had proven wrong. She counted until fifty to ask the dreaded question. "I lost it again, didn't I?"
He turned to his wife, remembering the haughty, god-complex, Sun Rune driven persona that had overrode her gentle features barely minutes ago. Telling her to stop worrying, saying he's got everything under control wouldn't have the best possible outcome.
He spent the next fifteen minutes watching his bedroom's hand painted ceiling over his wife's shoulder, not really enjoying the view.
Now, what would he have to say to persuade Georg to finish what he started?
