Ran out this morning like a bat out of hell so I didn't get a chance to make an announcement. Forgive me? *G* Em and I will add all remaining fic/art contributions to the completed list here this evening so please don't worry if you don't see your piece linked.

Our Sunday deadline has come and gone, but why should that stop the show? After much squeeing over pieces and careful more squeeing thought, Em and I have decided to extend the deadline 'til August 22nd (a couple of days before the closing ceremonies). So keep it coming, please! Feel free to take off your masks if you're tired of hiding behind anonymity. Take a minute to reveal your true self in the completed fic/art post by replying to your own comment.

Fic/Art requests still must be left anonymously. But feel free to participate under your LJ name whether you're replying with fic or art or you're squeeing in appreciation.

I adore this community and want it to live forevah... or perhaps in new forms and new communities as the seasons change.

That's why I was upset to find it second in my Google list when I searched for keywords "saiyuki nii" -- there for the world to read. Such public visibility could be risky.

Perhaps you'll consider f-locking future comms, and screening friending requests to at least see that people appear to be real participants with a history? That's a better, lower profile solution than the "over 18" provided by LJ, which not only raises visibility but makes it a damn nuisance to read, having to click on every entry...
