It's a question he's been asked many times – each new member to the Embryon always seems to have the same ones.
"Don't you ever think about taking over Serph and becoming leader?"
The answer is yes - often. He's stronger than Serph, dammit, why shouldn't he just ambush the overly calm bastard and make him afraid –
looking at me those smug eyes tear them out
- slam his head down onto the rain slicked stone, forcing it back, feel his Atma mark burn as Agni takes over, rake his claws through Serph's ridiculously neat hair as Serph writhes and bucks beneath him -
looking at me you bastard no better than me STOP IT
- as his own Atma brand changes him into Varna snarling and kicking before Heat tears at his throat leaving it as a mark gaping and bleeding as he systematically rends the flesh from Serph's chest, tears his limbs apart, devours him whole and erases him completely.
He's not sure why he hasn't yet. They work as a team – he's not sure what that means, but it might have something do with this idea of comrades that Sera keeps talking about. Serph is NOT HIS FRIEND dammit – he remembers enough to know that – but at least they all have a place.
"Don't you ever think about taking over Serph and becoming leader?"
"Why should you care?"
"…At least I belong."

Because it's violent and what you can see him imagining but above all it's both sex and fighting in the same bit of imagery, and that's brain-searingly hot. *hugs*
