Rules for Claiming Prompts:


I. Please make your request to the correct post. If you're interesting in snagging a prompt listed under July 2nd, please comment to the appropriate entry.

[July 1st - July 7th][July 8th - July 15th][July 16th - July 24th][July 24th - July 31st]

II. List the date and copy and paste each prompt you selected. [Ex. July 1st - 2. Bleach, Ikkaku/Kira: taking it slow - "You in some kind of hurry?"]

III. You will be expected to write at least 100 words per prompt.

IV. Collaborations are welcome.

V. Please be patient. I will note your request as soon as I am able to.

VI. You may not claim your own prompts.


I'll begin taking claims at 12:01 EST, May 14th.


When you are claiming prompts, you should feel free to interpret the prompt in whatever way seems most interesting to you (wherever the story takes you), as long as you don't completely ignore the elements that the requester submitted. Part of the fun of the challenge, after all, is seeing how people can take the same starting idea and come up with different responses to it.

Flames will not be tolerated. You guys wouldn't like me when I'm angry. kthanxbye


ETA: Prompts may be claimed four times (twice for art and twice for fic).

Just one question - my first time for this challenge. I know I can claim more than one prompt, but can I claim two on one day?

Of course. You can claim as many as you'd like if you're sure you can follow through. Claim twenty from the same day if you'd like or space them out over the 31 days. Up to you!

*finishes poking at things* Ha, there! Prioritization! I'm so proud of myself. I have only eight prompts on my "Tier One" list, and though I have another seven on the "Tier Two" list which are also awesome (And another, er, 60 or so on the "Possible" list), I have convinced myself that those can wait a couple days - hopefully other people will pick up some of them and I won't have to claim all of them.

Definitely going to be around at 9:01pm PST, though. ^^ Is it bad that I'm looking forward to seeing what prompts other people pick up nearly as much as putting in claims myself?

Good luck with what no doubt will be a flood of claims! ^^; I don't envy you, but I do greatly admire the work you put in to this!

12:01 AM EST is 11:01 PM here... I'm only eyeing twenty buuut... yeah, totally keeping an eye on the time to jump on prompts. I only did one last time, but so many on the new list have caught my eye....

Is it 12.01 yet?
I know you sent me that wonderful time/exchange thing, but i can't make head nor tail of it. It's now 4.15am in the UK (or at least that's what time it is in my bedroom in Manchester) and I think I'm gonna hafta wait until the morning proper before I claim anything, but rest assured I will be claiming.
(Oh yes, I will! ... *goes into gollum-esque state then is smacked upon head with rolled up newspaper preventing nasty mishaps*)

Was there a time limit on claiming?

If there was then the following is not relevant, but I was wanting to claim some two things, one on July 1st and one on July 3rd, and the comment list seems to have disappeared (and I checked, the two things I want are still available).

I hope I haven't complicated things, but if I have I'm sorry (you're doing so much, I am amazed by the amount of work put into this!). I'll check back later to see if there's any reply, thanks.
